David Pomeroy is an Auckland, New Zealand based Elton John tribute artist – with a difference. Whilst the costumes worn by David are in the style / spirit of Elton John, the songs are sung with David’s unique singing artistry – with no intent made to “sound exactly like Elton”. This is a fun filled, family friendly show, with personality, pizazz, and pageantry!
Each show can be tailor made to meet your exact requirements. A standard 90-min show (2 sets and costumes) is ideal for a Friday or Saturday night party in an RSA, club, or theatre. This time, and the contents within, can be easily shortened or lengthened to suit the needs of any corporate event, company function, private birthday celebration, or music festival. David is a versatile performer with a multiple-octave vocal range, and an experienced and popular Master of Ceremonies (MC). David will work with you to create a personalised show and experience.
As this is a “one man show”, the pricing is extremely competitive, and much less than you would typically pay for live bands at your club or venue – all whilst being a popular drawcard that will fill seats, generate bar and food revenue, and delight your guests. The show is licenced via APRA Amcos / Recorded Music NZ “OneMusic” venue licencing, for all live performances that have a ticket price less than $35 NZD, in venues that have a current OneMusic licence in place.
Whether you like Rocketman, Candle in the Wind, Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting, Bennie and The Jets, Philadelphia Freedom, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road or any of Elton’s other popular songs, this is a great show not to be missed. David can perform anywhere in Auckland, and most parts of New Zealand, so get in touch via email with any questions!
